... compared to Joe Morgan. ESPN Sunday Night Baseball is only viewable with no sound.

(and I bet people thought I was posting in the wrong forum)

Joe Morgan is possibly the worst announcer I've ever heard for a game. Steve Phillips isn't much better.

I used to like these guys. But lately, especially Morgan, he's just stating obvious stuff.

call me a Cards homer, but I love listening to Mike Shannon call a game on the radio. Many ppl hate him but i think his drunken rambling is hilarious. I would rather listen to a Cards game on the radio than watch one on tv anyday. Google "shannonisms" sometime, they are hilarious

Morgan spends his time comparing the players of today to his own accomplishments and his generation. It must suck to be in the box with him and his consistent ramblings of his days with the Colt 45's/ Astros.

The announcing career of Joe Morgan is one of those things that is impossible to explain.

Ditto. Paired with Jack Buck, it didnt get any better. :good!:
Royals old duo would put me to sleep. Even when KC was winning games.
