at least he died after surgery, if he and the democrats had gotten their wish regarding healthcare, he'd still be waiting to be seen by a urologist.

can't say that I'm sorry to see him gone. His remarks concerning the marines accused of massacring civilians in Haditha were particularly appalling. His refusal to apologize after they were all acquitted of any wrongdoing should earn him the pineapple treatment.

My wife is an OR nurse..she said that it was leaky bowel, which can happen - but is usually caught right when it happens during the surgery. Apparently his wasn't...or it wasn't repaired properly....

Sorry to hear of his passing. The dude did have some stupid things in his quote column but he wasn't a complete scumbag or anything. Just had a lot of foot in mouth moments trying to use hyperbole to his advantage. But what politician hasn't?

He's due the honor guard for his service but after his recent display, not sure who in the Corps would want that assignment.

Not to piss on his grave, but that would be very insulting to the Marines since some of those off color remarks were very degrading to the military. Yes, he had the right to say them, but that would mark him as one to not get that kind of recognition.
