Use to enjoy watching Johnny Majors Show with my dad who passed in the 80’s. But the point being a few things stand out about Majors . He did leave a powerful program to return home after winning a national championship. I witnessed him beating Bear Bryant in his last years of coaching. How animated he was during Johnny Majors Show , “Get those hands up”! And of course the banner that hung on interstate 40 on the bridge that crossed the road Tennessee made a Majors mistake. But I liked him. Definitely all Vol.

Majors could/should have retired at Tennessee as the Coaching Legend he was as a Player. Really very Sad, and this story gives insight as to how great He could have been. The people that really knew him, loved him.
