If it's Patterson I can't say that it upsets me one bit. I'd still rather have Gruden , but that is much better than hearing it's Smart. If...IF....this rumor is true.

You think Patterson is that bad of a hire? Hart may still be in need of a job and Patterson may flop here , but I have to be honest....I thought you were going to say Smart. That imo is the worst move we could make. Once again taking all this with a grain of salt. All I'm saying is we could do worse.

The problem with Gru appears to be paying him and still having to pay the higher salary's of the coaches he would want to bring with.

Furthermore if CDD does get the win Saturday, which I think he will, it looks like he's still our guy next year. Then this thread will carry into next year.

Gru wanted 4.3 in 2010. He also wanted 1 million for his brother. I still have Gruden at the top of my list. It's him until we are told it's not. But shame on Tennessee if he wants the job and we say no. Have you heard from your guy he is interested at all? You mention the problem with him. He must have some interest if there is an issue paying him.

Ok folks, I'm steppin it down a notch. Always was known as a hot head when it comes to my football anyway. You are not gonna believe me, but talked to a friend in N'ville who has connections with Vandy who has heard that this weekends performance or rather a lack of in Starkville might very well set things in motion for a change. No I'm not trolling nor being sarcastic. He claimed no knowledge of the Gruden situation but I wouldn't expect him to. Anyway there is my one and only carrot for the Grudenites, unless I hear something else. LOL :eek:

If this thread makes it until next year it'll be without Gruden. The Browns will be too attractive.....
