Jon Jones out of UFC 133

I'm okay with that. Rashad Evans is my least favorite fighter alongside Brock Lesnar. I don't like that Jones automatically holds the title longer by default but it means he'll fight someone else. I would hope he doesn't get to sit idly by for over a year to wait for Evans anyways.

Who do you think it will be?

The top contenders have been 50/50 in recent fights. I'd give Shogun a rematch. He was the champ and was coming off surgery. I don't see anyone who deserves a title shot more than he does.

Dan Henderson still has one fight left on his contract with Strikeforce so I'm assuming he can't fight in the UFC until it's up?

With the recent news of GSP cooling on going up to 185 for good I look for Anderson Silva to go up to 205 after he beats Okami and challenge Bones. Silva will have avenged his last loss (Okami) and will have nobody else at 185 to fight. At least I hope that is what plays out...

I'd be okay with that. Jones should start worrying if that happens. The only negative is the fact that Silva is on the downside of his career. I know he keeps winning but he would have to add some weight and he has already started slowing down. Three of his last five fights have gone to the 5th round.

If Silva can put on the weight and carry it, go for it. Silva is a great fighter but Jones is a monster. Brain vs. brawn. Not saying Jones is stupid(he might be, idk), just that Silva will have experience on his side.

I'm not really interested in seeing Jones/Shogun II. I don't think Shogun wants to see that fight either.

I don't know if he can lose enough weight, but Brendan Shaub comes to mind. Silva for sure is the fight I want to see, but I want to see Jones groomed a bit more first. Some day I want to see Bones slap Machida's face around.

I think the Shogun outcome could be very different the second time around. He hadn't fought in a year. I also thought his knee changed the fight drastically and Rua said the same thing. Of the current fighters in that weight class, Rua deserves the shot most outside of Evans. Only guy that would deserve it more is Silva if he makes the jump. Machida certainly doesn't deserve it at the moment. He's lost two in a row, including a loss to Shogun.
