People still watch SNL?

I tried but could only make it through about 4 episodes last year, then gave up. The current cast is overall terrible, with a few great performers who need to get out while they can.

If it weren't for Grimm and sometimes Hollywood Game Night, I'm not sure I'd watch NBC at all. I don't even like Jimmy Fallon anymore.

I think Fallon's ratings are going to take a big hit when Colbert starts hosting the late show.

I hope so; his show has gotten so cookie cutter and bland.

I've always thought Fallon to be way overrated; he's just not very amusing and tends to lean on whoever is on stage with him for laughs.

Colbert is going to kill him in ratings.

I liked him well enough when he was on Late Night, but it hasn't really translated well to the earlier time slot. Part of it is he's become way too dependent on the games and skits, and he annoyingly thinks every guest is the greatest ever. Every actor is awesome, every musician is awesome, every comedian is hilarious, etc.

Say what you will about David Letterman, you could at least tell when his guests bored him.

agreed. One of my favorite Letterman guest reactions was when Joaquin Phoenix came on to "promote" his weird-ass mockumentary/autobiography "I'm Still Here".
