Since many on volnation thought Strong would have been a great coach for UT. I am very optimistic with the hire of Jones. The Bearcats Def and Off is exactly what Tennessee was built on ... a strong running offense with a def hard to score on.

These are the averages for the past season. The Bearcats also tied for 1st in the Big East last and this year. Both have much room for improvement in recruiting, but know how to coach their teams up. I find it hard to put one coach down and praise the other. In the end Tennessee got just what the fans asked for, a coach that believes in a ground offense with a strong defense.
