The statement was that no one would visit. Wrong.

This will be done quietly but it looks likely to me. If Dooley gets 3 big contributors from USC it will help him with recruiting but also will help our team win this year.

Wilcox beat Oregon with less defensive talent than he has now. An 8 win season would give Dooley enormous credibility. I am excited about the future of this program and feel that Dooley is being underestimated.

I'm still waiting to see where I said nobody would transfer from USC. I'll probably get that information right about the time proof of Kiffin's angry phone calls and texts to Lance Thompson appear and all those guys making the trip from L.A. to Knoxville arrive on campus. So far, they've lost a guy who was never going to be medically cleared by USC's medical staff and another who wasn't even on the spring roster. Not sure how they will survive without them.

I wonder if anybody of consequence will transfer.

IMO apathy will again be usc's biggest hurdle this season, not potential loss of talent through transfers.

Where are you getting your information that we will get 2 or 3 and could take 9 players from USC. Is this one of your baseless predictions or do you actually have information to this effect?:clapping:

You just don't have any real information Hat. MHF is in the know as usual---we could take 9, but more likely 2 or 3. I don't plan on holding my breath until they arrive.

no reason for anyone of consequence to transfer this late in the year. SC will still be a good place to get you to the nfl which is the primary goal of most players.

People expecting:

a) Half the roster transferring
b) Anyone good transferring
c) Anyone (good or bad) transferring to UT

Are likely going to be disappointed

big if since they mailed in the season last year when they were out of the pac-10 race. they could finish anywhere from first to sixth. i bet they come out strong, but it should be interesting what happens when they lose their first game and kiffin can no longer pull the "we can win the ap championship" card. my guess is the wheels will come off. this is what happens when you build a program around anything but a NC or BCS as a failure of the season.

I'd honestly be surprised if we got 1. There are 118 other FBS schools besides UT and USC. Why would you think we could get 2-3? The numbers don't seem right.
