This was a few days ago, but no official thread and with the sad news of yesterday, I figured it was a good place to welcome Jordan to Rocky Top!

Thread in recruiting and on his own thread. Happy to have him apart of Vol Nation. Should blow up in the summer.

He has his recruitment behind him. He can now concentrate on polishing up his game before bringing his talents to Rocky Top.

Oh yeah, BOOM!

Well what I meant was there was no thread announcing that he committed. Hence this thread.

Oklahoma
Purdue
UTEP
Virginia Commonwealth

To name a few.

And the bigger names had come recently which is why it was nice to get his commit now...he named some pretty big schools that had been starting to show interest.

He probably won't be a star but he's a solid 4 year player that this program needs. If our class can have 2-3 of those kinds of guys and 1 prize recruit, we will be just fine.

He's up to 6'6" 215lbs btw

Is it strange that seeing VCU on that list gives me as much or more confidence as the other 3?

Nope if any school I see on a players offer list VCU and Butler are some mid majors that def make you think he's a automatic take.

Literally has no other offers? He has quite a few offers, and some of which are very good basketball schools.

Rivals doesn't list any offers, which is strange for a top 150 player. That's what I was confused about. It's great to jump on a kid early though. It pays off more times than not.

Try a couple other sites before assuming e has no offers, it may be a glitch on rivals or they just haven't updated him but he had multiple offers.

That's good. I was worried maybe he had an injury or bad grades that had schools worrying about him.

Rivals is incredibly slow at updating their basketball rankings. I trust them for football, but lean more towards ESPN or Scout for basketball. JMO.
