yea he broke his wrist in the brevard exhibition 6-8 weeks is correct. If he was healthy there is no doubt you woulda seen him not only b/c of melvins injury but because of the ineffective outside shooting by mcbee and the rest of our wings

He is not likely to see back-up point play as Golden is doing a good job there. He will see action at the 2 or 3 when healthy, for defensive purposes, if nothing else.

Josh Bone is a great defender. He is no better than McBee on offense, so IMO I feel that McBee is a better option for us right now. It will be great once we do have him back to give McBee some rest.

I disagree. Bone is worlds better than McBee on defense, and he can be much more productive offensively. Bone isn't limited to being a spot-up shooter and he can drive to the basket with more effectiveness. Athleticism is a factor you can't overlook.

Even just as a spot up shooter, I think Bone a little better.

Bone is a much better defender and has a better handle than McBee.

Overall, Bone is a better player.

I would like to this team have a legit 3 point threat. No one is consistently good from that range.

I hear that one of the guards coming in next year is deadly... can't remember his name though. That is what this team lacks and it shows during the half court sets.

Once JB's wrist heals, he will eventually may eventually get playn time due to his defense.

in the nova game Mcbee played great defense on their guards i am tired of people downing him.

I'm afraid not.

Whenever Bone is healthy he should take Mcbee's time at the 2. Bruce will still likely give his little project time as well.

I was hoping Mcrae would be getting solid time now but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Possible redshirt maybe?

I'm tired of him sucking on defense and always giving silly, ineffective, and unnecessary fouls.

Those fouls are less a factor of silliness and more a factor of lack of lateral quickness. Try though he may, he simply can't stay in front of quick guards.

He hustles, plays hard (and usually smart) and occasionally comes up with a clutch shot (Nova, Kansas). But his shot is not good enough to warrant taking time from Bone if and when he should return this season.

i just hope he has been running and doing conditiioning workouts. he should be ablle too with just a bad wrist. cause i like to see him get some playing time as soon he is cleared to play. he has the quickness to stay in fron of the guy he is guarding,
