Our problem is everybody..you can't play 12 players and have consistency. It starts with a coach which we have lacked.

I think Josh is doing really well. He surprises me sometimes. He is better defensively than Hopson.

Lol lol let's all make fun of the Troll after a loss!

Did you know Josh Bone is the only player receiving regular minutes that has a negative +- on the season?

It's WAY into the negative if you don't factor in the Memphis and Auburn games where we could have played 5 guys from the TRECs and won. Almost as negative as the numbers Woolridge and Maymonn put up in their time.

Among Meaningful players (counting out Summit, Hubert) He is in the bottom five of the team in these statistical categories, despite being 7th in minutes: PPG, RPG, Field Goal Percentage, 3 point Percentage, Steals per game, and just for kicks, no Blocked shots yet.

He's doing well so far on Foul shooting, not causing fouls, not causing turnovers. So I guess we're happy about his playtime because he doesn't do anything at all?

Quite simply, among people who are playing, and even STARTING (WTF WTF), he is easily our worst player. And please don't talk about his defense like it matters. Mcbee, Pearl, and Golden could take all of his minutes and play just as well on that end.

I am going to have to respectfully and emphatically disagree. At this point, Bone is just as good, if not better than all the players you named in all areas on offense and defense (minus McBee's perimeter shooting).

Do you REALLY think Pearl would be a better SG?

I think Bone does a good job. I do, admittedly, have lower expectations for him than some others though.

i agree playing 12 players is a sure way to make a team play inconsistant.i posted early in the year that playing that many players caused inconsitantsy, when players only play around 25 minuets split into 3 to 4 minuet stretches you really cant get into the groove of things.a good player with all the tv and regular timeouts, and not being a pressing team should be abel to play 32 to 36 without getting tired.and if they do get tired to me it means the coach isn,t making them run enough during practice ,especially during practice before season started.

Bone is doing a great job as a role player. He is more athletic and a better defender than McBee. He also passes the ball well, but cannot shoot as well as McBee. Very happy for Bone's performance this year and last.

I agree. I wouldn't mind such a deep rotation if Hopson and Harris were averaging at least 30 mpg.

I applaud you having an opinion. I'm sure you've watch at least one game , but Mcbee couldn't defend Refrigerator Perry. Bone's +- can probably be attributed to playing with the combination of players he does in the rotation. He has done a pretty good job this season at guarding his one man and knocking down the occasional shot. We don't ask anything else of him.
