Played pretty well tonight. Had 2 good looks but just couldn't get them to fall. IMO, and this is not a knock on McBee at all, but Bone looks like he belongs out on the court more so than McBee. He's more athletic and plays better D.

Anyways, hope to see more of him because he can shoot the 3 well. Good win tonight. Bring on Kansas.

you must not watch mcbee this kid hustles from the time he hits the floor till the time he leaves.one of the better defenders on the team

He runs around like a chicken with his head cut-off on defense. He plays hard and I pull for him but at this point he is a complete liability on defense.

McBee is our worst defender on the court at any time, lol - maybe worse than 6'5 Steven Pearl guarding a PF. McBee may hustle - but he just doesn't have the athleticism to stay in front of anyone.

McBee has consistantly looked like a player that needs confidence in every single game. He needs to keep shooting to get better. When his confidence elevates to the point where he can come off the bench and knock down a few 3's...I'll be pretty darn happy. Speaking of which, Henry will eat him alive.

Yeah because we will match Mcbee up with Henry.....

I'm not saying he doesn't hustle, I'm just saying that from a defensive standpoint he is a liability somewhat. Saying he is one of the better defenders on the team is almost laughable.

That said, he does hustle and hit some key shots last night, but from what I saw from Bone, he looks like he belongs on the court more so than McBee.

Just because he hustles does not mean he is a good defender. I agree that McBee is a liability. It would not be in CBP's best interest to match him up with Henry or Collins.

He may not be the best defender on the team, but his hustle at times seems to turn up everyone else D. Also when he gets hot he can knock down a shot from anywhere. They have to respect him from way beyond the three point line which should open up the paint a little more for chism and hall. I dont think he's a bad option to put in certain circumstances IMO.

seriously, have you even watched any kansas basketball this year? Probably not. Nice way to quote the "3 position" in the stats you read.

huh? Yes I have watched them play and Henry is their best player.....so that said I have a hard time believing Mcbee will be matched up on Henry on the defensive end! Not rocket science man...and when it comes to the stats "I read" I'm not sure what your talking about cuz your not making sense.

Not to mention Henry is much bigger than Mcbee.
Maybe I just took your post the wrong way....but by you saying he would eat him alive I assumed you meant matched up together...either way no big deal.
