LSU makes a huge statement by suspending Boutte their next game against juggernaut Jacksonville State. Boutte, of course, was suspended due to his incredibly late hit on the Wisconsin defender after an interception.

Good job, LSU. Lol

SEC will review also. Might not be over yet. This obviously smells of LSU trying to get punishment on record and control the dialog. SEC should also make a point and add about 4 games on it

Edit: oh well I stand corrected. SEC commissioner has accepted LSU's self imposed penalty and will not impose further punishment. That is poultry fecal matter, plain and simple.

All aboard the outrage train:

Suspend him the whole season
Kicked off the team
Executed at half time
Feed him to Mike the Tiger

Good. It will help turn the tide of public opinion against Miles and make it easier for us to ****can him when the time comes. That could be this weekend if we somehow lose to JSU.

If I recall correctly, LeGarrette Blount got 10 games for punching a dude. So, I would think Boutte would deserve at least half of that.

Boutte's out (not a great one, but an out nonetheless) is that he might have thought the Wisconsin defender was running the INT back up the field and he needed to make a tackle. Blount's deal was just a straight sucker punch 5 minutes after the game was over.

Boutte should have gotten at least a few games.

Honestly, watching live, I thought that was what happened. That being said it's where Boutte hit him that makes one question what he was thinking or if he was thinking at all....

If true than Boutte should have dove on the ball that the Wisc runner fumbled when hit. Instead he just stood there and acted like a thug. No doubt it was an intentional cheap shot. He has no out on this one.
