NOTES

-You come to Tennessee to play in these types of games. Saturday night prime time.
-Good energy from the team. We have strong leadership and the guys care about their performance.
-There were a lot of things we did well on Saturday.
-Penalties, dropped balls, hitting a couple more passes, leads to a different score.
-The previous games have nothing to do with this one.
-We've got to throw it a little better and catch it a little better. Lots of green grass out there.
-Elijah Herring. His best football is ahead of him. Great confidence in him and the rest of the guys that played. That group is going to need to continue to grow quickly.
-Cooper Mays is anticipated to play this week. He practiced last week and expect a good week form him this week.
-Have to bottle up Florida's run game. It's a big part of what they do.
-This will be the best offensive line we've seen.
-You have to point out (to Joe) what needs to be corrected. He's made really sound decisions. He just needs to be a little bit better "at times".

He sais there were a lot of things they did well. I’d be curious what those were. FG kicking?
According to him, effort and technique on special teams. Defense played sound the majority of the game -- gap assignments allowed a couple big runs early in the game. Ran for nearly eight yards a carry and had some efficiency in the pass game.

Milton's eyes were in the right place, he stepped into and out of pressure in the pocket, and made some nice throws. RBs look good sans a dropped screen pass that hit Small right in both hands. I think that may have been the lots of green comment.

They aren't nearly as far off as everyone wants to act like they are.

Punting and kick offs

Blue font.

I don’t understand how a kicker kicks three out of bounds on a kickoff. Heup said again he just “sliced” it, similar to golf. Punting - he did much better w his left foot but I am concerned FL will block one this week as punter takes too long.

Nuke LaLoosh said it best in Bull Durham: A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
