The fans got to them. They were already a sloppy team. The noise helped. I agree we took Bama's best shot and i expected it, it's what they do. Vols punched back this time, with half of their roster. This is just the beginning.

I decided Friday morning to take my Son. We have been to lots of Vols games, but this one was different. The entire day the atmosphere around the stadium was electric more than ever.
When the winning field goal left his foot it seemed quite, then when it went thru the goalposts it sounded like an atomic bomb went off.
We just stood and watched almost in shock the celebration and everyone giving high fives hugging each other for at least an hour.
I paid more than I ever have for two tickets, but it was worth every penny, especially with my Son.

I’ve started following recently too and I think he’s the best one out there. Respectful to all programs and considers Tennessee a sleeping giant.

Wonderful thing this game accomplished is that now everyone else also gets it. Nobody could have watched what just happened and not learn and come away with proper understanding of how great this rivalry really is. I think it's super important we had this game before they create the new SEC groupings when Texas and Oklahoma get in. I can't imagine after watching this anyone can even think about doing away with this annual spectacle.
