I think other coaches knew what to expect with Ramar. I don't know much about basketball recruiting but it seems like UT has had more than its fair share of players who didn't pan out like hoped. Maybe it has something to do with Pearls evaluation or his leadership once they are here.

If by atrocious you mean doesn't coach defense or recruits kids who think they are above defense then sure. The team always at the top of the SEC in scoring. If you think this list is atrocious then you are clueless.

Half of those are transfers from other schools and the rest are either pathetic or haven't even played a second of college basketball. Your argument is what's worthless. Hes' a horrible recruiter.

1) He was still able to bring them in. He wouldn't have had room for Tyler and JP if Ramar and Crews weren't kick of the team.

2) Almost competing? I don't know what basketball you've been watching but three Sweet 16's for Tennessee since the format changed to 64 teams. Bruce Pearl owns two of those. We seem to have a bunch of ungrateful fans when it comes to basketball. If you don't like what Bruce Pearl is doing then watch the girls.

1) Are you serious? You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. JP and Tyler played with Ramar Smith and Duke Crews, for a whole year. You might want to stick to arguing about something of which you have a clue.

2) Sweet 16s and first place finishes in the SEC East aren't competing. He won an SEC title, which was great, now it is time for him to go back to the Horizon League.

Just because someone has had a checkered past doesn't mean they will do it again. People change and mature. I still don't think you can predict that someone will be arrested. Can't think of his name but should we assume that the kid who recently committed to the football team will assist in more rapes?

Actually half of those guys haven't played enough yet to know what we have. Way too early to write off Hopson, Negedu, or even Woolridge. Tyler Smith may have been a bit of a gift, but the job he did putting together last year's class was pretty impressive.

Recruiting is recruiting. Just because a couple kids didn't fulfill expectations doesn't mean that CBP is a bad recruiter, it just means said player didn't fulfill expectations. Ramar and Crews were given every opportunity to succeed here, but threw it away. Pearl can't make off-court decisions for these kids; they have to live their own lives. I don't really think that reflects poorly on Pearl's recruiting record.

1) Pretty sure UT only had two available scholarships. Tatum and Williams took those scholarships. Two more opened up when those two got kicked off the team. Smith and Prince....

2) Stop watching the basketball team if all you're going to do is b**** then. Bruce Pearl is going to be here for a long time so deal with it.

Now, let's not get all carried away. I haven't seen anyone say they want BP gone. There has been some concern voiced but I've seen no one calling for his head. I have some concerns also, but mine tend to be about Bruce not seeming happy at UT anymore. I guess I should say he doesn't seem as happy as he once was to be at UT. I hope losing Shelby will help him refocus and decide he really wants to be here. I want to see the old BP, all fired up and ready to go.

Being wrong about one thing that I believe to be right is making crap up? Okay. Just call me stupid for being wrong. You think being wrong means I fail at life. That would be a bold statement to pass as fact. You apparently think knowing every little detail about Tennessee makes a successful life. I can only assume your life sucks.
