Actually half of those guys haven't played enough yet to know what we have. Way too early to write off Hopson, Negedu, or even Woolridge. Tyler Smith may have been a bit of a gift, but the job he did putting together last year's class was pretty impressive.
Recruiting is recruiting. Just because a couple kids didn't fulfill expectations doesn't mean that CBP is a bad recruiter, it just means said player didn't fulfill expectations. Ramar and Crews were given every opportunity to succeed here, but threw it away. Pearl can't make off-court decisions for these kids; they have to live their own lives. I don't really think that reflects poorly on Pearl's recruiting record.
