Josh Smith is rated as the #1 player in rivals top 150 for the class of 2010. He's a huge guy 6'10 280. Anyways why does rivals list us as the top team on his list? Also what is the chance he'll be a Vol?

It's not that we are the top team on his list i dont think, its just the order that Rivals put up his college choices.

Tennessee isnt getting Josh Smith or Tony Wroten
I love all these recruiting "insiders" on this board...I wasn't aware so many UT fans were so close to all these high school kids...not necessarily the two listed here, but how many times have we seen somebody say there's no way such and such goes to this University and a week later he's committing there.

Seriously. Just look any recruit's thread and compare the first and last pages after he's committed or named a new leader. Most people here have no idea what they're talking about.

Well you have already lost. I live in washington and know tony personally just because he said in an interview two years ago that he liked tenn means nothing. Look he is Nate Robinsons cousin and his dad big tony was a star for the huskies. In the two years since then in the off season he kicks it with Brandon Roy and nate and they play with Jamal Crawford and Jason terry far from tennessee right here at home. I haven even heard him speak of Tennessee since then. Currently University of Washington, Maryland and Lousiville are the leading cantidates. Recently with the likes of Isaiah Thomas, Abdul Gaddy amongst others committing to UW its only a matter of time before tony does. He has said he wont announce a decision until his junior year.
