Josh Tabb Suspended

I swear there seems to be no news but bad news lately for our program. This does not sound like Tabb will be back at all in my opinion.

Tabb must have incriminating pictures of someone. A mediocre player isn't worth this big a headache.

Violation of team rules = weed 90% of the time, in my experience. If the past is any indication, with multiple violations, I can't imagine he'll be a Vol much longer.

Tabb is a senior. It would not free up a scholarship. The only thing dropping Tabb would do scholly-wise is allow a walk-on to get one this year - perhaps that local kid. It's been said on here that he was promised he'd eventually get one.

Unless it involves criminal charges, probably not. Universities are very tight lipped about what they let out publicly, for fear of running afoul of The Buckley Amendment.

If anything it would assist in taking away one of our schollys. If we dont have less guys getting kicked off or leaving we'll lose another scholarship when the NCAA does their graduation rate evaluations of schools.

Wont be a HUGE loss but Tabb was def a nice contributor, Tatum and Hopson will hold the SG position down for us.

He probably smoked some weed, big deal. Kick him off the team like we did Ramar Smith and Duke Crews and see how well that works out for us. Mediocre player? Tabb is a terrific defender.

You'd have to get 1,000 times better to reach medicocrity, so this isn't a subject you should address. Then again, not knowing the first thing about a given subject matter has never stopped you from displaying your idiocy before.

Yeah, kicking those two off the team pretty much cost us a shot at the Final Four. :crazy:

They always say he's the best perimeter defender on the team, yeah, but he was embarrassed plenty of times last year.

That's not saying much when you consider the defensive abilities of most of his teammates.

If you think Duke Crews wouldn't have helped us alot the last couple years then you're wrong. Ramar Smith would not have improved our point guard situation much but he would have been better than the dud Melvin Goins is going to be. Pearl can't seem to sign talent without baggage or well mediocre players without baggage for that matter.
