White was a first-team all-state selection in high school after having more than 2,000 all-purpose yards, including 1,325 rushing, his senior year for Kansas City Center High in Missouri. He attended Division II Nebraska-Kearney for a year before transferring to Mt. San Antonio. White was a backup last season, running for 392 yards and two touchdowns on 70 carries before taking over the starting tailback spot this season.

6^1 and only 190 lb seems kind of underweight for a JUCO (as opposed to a HS senior). He would need to beef up a lot if he came here I would think.

I wouldn't take a juco RB unless he could come in and take 50% of the carries right away. We need a stud RB worse than anytime I can remember.
We may be looking for a juco who has 3 to play 2. Redshirt him next year and have him ready to play his 2 years when Chandler and Jordan graduate. Just an idea.

This is the one thing I don’t understand what the staff is doing.

Why are we offering so many JUCO RBs? Aren’t JUCOs supposed to be instant impact guys? Why would we need another upperclassmen tailback if we have 2 seniors and a promising sophomore at the position for next season? Why not just take 2 freshmen..
