I wonder if CLK will go after any high profile JUCO players in the next year or so. I thought there might be some OL's or DL's he could pick up.

early prediction for the fall of 2010. one true freshman starts during the season (a very special prospect). one JUCO starts (has to be a January enrollee to get acclimated.) *edit: I was speaking about the O-line specifically.*

I'm not as worried about the D-line, but I hope we can get some mid-termers for 2010 there as well. (new graduates & JUCO's)

I've been wondering the same thing. The best runningbacks in the world can't overcome weak line play.

And we all know that Barry Sanders caliber RB's grow on trees like frickin' crab apples.

Please read the comment that I responded to.

I was putting Barry Sanders in the discussion for one of "the best runningbacks in the world" who overcame his team situation.

Orgeron to me that ONLY if elite players that they knew for sure could play. has to be elite...

And now, Jim Brown disagrees with you.

My top 3

Barry Sanders
Jim Brown
Walter Peyton

To me, these 3 guys are elite and no one touches them. Beyond them, this would round out my top 10...

Emmitt Smith
O.J. Simpson
Marcus Allen
Larry Czonka
Eric Dickerson
Gale Sayers
Earl Campbell

Earl Campbell was a stud and I would put him atop of anyone! He was never brought down by one guy it took 5-6 guys to bring this him down!

Can't argue with those three, I personally would just switch the order of the first two.

Love Campbell too, Brown just had that same type of toughness but with a whole lot more to go along with it.
