I'm not a lawyer but FSU needs to reach a settlement. No doubt in my mind that the damage to the university could be sizeable the longer this drags on.

I think his guilt or innocence isn't the issue. It's how the university handled the situation and the university relationship with police.

If this goes forward I'm sure a lot will come out that was mishandled by FSU, and the cops.

Probably be settled quietly. But the FSU part will be public record, so I am sure they will funnel as much as they can through the claims against Winston.

Winston will want this over as soon as possible as it is such a big distraction to his NFL career. And FSU I imagine very much wants this out of the news. Nothing good can come of it for them.
