Judging by preseason press the following 2 teams will suck in 09

Ole Miss and Oregon will not finish in the top-20.

Oregon's press in particular is mind blowing. They lose Jaison Williams, their other starting WR, Jeremiah Johnson, 3-4 starting Olineman, 3-4 of their staring front 7 including their best pass rusher (Nick Reed), and their best guys in the secondary (Chung and Byrd).

Ole Miss on the other hand seems to be getting press soley because of one flukey win over Florida and beating a completely overated big-12 team.

Don't know about Oregon. But Ole Miss has a solid QB and I am sure Coach O didn't recruit so so players to Ole Miss.

I can see Ole Miss in another big bowl game this year and finishing in the top 20.

Coach O didn't exactly have his choice of the lot. quite a few of his top rated recruits are gone already.

Don't forget the blowout of LSU.........even though LSU had serious problems on the defensive side of the ball last year.

Ole Miss is the only team in the west that has a proven QB. They were also the only team last year to beat UF, fluke or not, they beat them. Their away games are Memphis, USC, Vandy, and Miss. State.

Not saying they are going to win the west, but i think saying they dont have a shot it a little overboard.
