The youth orgs are phenomenal here in VA. My son is 8 and he plays Spring ball. We are already practicing for the Fall. We have a scrimmage in a week.or two and 3 bumps in August before the season starts. Nov-Jan is his down time and we are even training then. Hampton Roads has some.great athletes.

Finally, 2026 TE Kendre Harrison continues to rave about the Vols. He spoke glowingly about Tennessee to Chad Simmons earlier this week. He has some interest for basketball so it’s worth watching how that all works out on the court but the Vols have his attention in football. -VQ

Per capita... I'd put Hampton Roads area right at the top as far as sheer talent numbers. In ALL sports. I could give you a list a mile long of the ELITE athletes from Norfolk/Va Beach alone. I remember just a few year ago when OSHS went to Miami to play Northwestern? HS, NWHS was a big favorite and OSHS ROLLED em.
