I know we've got Florida to worry about at the moment. But Arizona State's game against LSU showed a lot. I'm sure as some of you know, ASU is the stereotypical Pac-10 team, with a heavy pass attack, less emphasis on the run. Now I know none of our wide receivers are as talented as Derek Hagan and Sam Keller has Ainge's talent with Clausen's composure so our pass attack is probably not as good as ASU's.

But ASU exposed a weakness in LSU in that they can be passed on by a good team. I think we can pull it off. I would hope Fulmer at least tries to use the pass game a little bit more, as well as the physical running game to back it up. But it begs the question... As far as we know, Clausen still can't stretch the field against a good pass defense. So do we use Ainge to establish the pass and if so to what extent?

Also, how do we defend against LSU? From what I saw Broussard looked pretty good, and LSU has those good WR's.

Should be a crazy game.

mechem has just as much talent as hagan does. but we never use one reciever over and over. we keep them all fresh.

if we werent as deep as we are at wr, meachem would catch 100 balls and have 15 touchdowns a year. he is that talented.

One horrible FG attempt, One silly looking punt scheme swung that game for LSU.

The LSU TD catch towards the end, was IMO iffy. That could very well have been a 21 point ASU win. It was good to see them play and then make moves in the polls vs sitting idle and being praised.

No doubt, but them opening up the offense kept them in the game. I'm saying, if we can do that in combination with a better D and legit running game, we could steamroll 'em. But if we keep it close, we could very well lose.
