It is that time of year when players start thinking about leaving. So who leaves the SEC early this year?

Here is my guess:

Cam Newton
Nick Fairley
A.J. Green
Brandon Boykin
Justin Houston
Ryan Mallett
Randall Cobb
Patrick Peterson
Janoris Jenkins
Will Hill
Marcell Dareus
Mark Ingram
Julio Jones
Mark Barron

I don't think any Vols leave early or should even think about it.

Who did I miss?

Who is going to stay?

For some reason I see Cobb staying for his Sr year. I could be wrong, but he just seems like the type to stay. Fairly comprehensive list and I agree on current Vols. They should all be staying

Maybe a dumb question... Does Cam's juco year count as a year of eligibility towards entering the NFL draft or does he have to be in a D1 school for three years?

I see no reason for Cobb to stay, Rucker said it best Kentucky wont be near as good next year so why even bother...

It counts. He is clear to leave for the NFL. And at least there he can be paid legally.

I think there will be fewer Jr.'s out this year because the NFL could be in a lock out. No job, no money, no where to live, could deter a few.

I know what you are saying about Cobb, but he is gone IMO.

I think the number might end up a bit less than expected/predicted due in part to worry from the upcoming lockout.

It won't be a drastic drop in number though

So that he can stay relevant.

Millions of dollars he can openly spend would make him relevant. Not saying he shouldn't stay but if anyone is projected high in the first round, their paycheck is going to be high. What might be a contributing factor though outside of draft is if the NFL is going to strike and how that might effect his contract.
