Jupiter is highly visible right now. Look ESE relatively low on the horizon. Can't miss it. With some binocs on a tripod you can see 2 or 3 of it's moons.

Should be out until after midnight.

I swear any time there is any remotely interesting astronomy event there is think cloud cover in my area.

Saw 3 moons for sure. Seemed to be a fourth but it was out of the same orbital plane as the other 3 so it may have been a star. I'm assuming it was a moon since it was always in the same position relative to Jupiter and the others as the whole bunch moved across the sky. Got 3 for sure.

Could have used a filter though, it was so bright it bled over in the binocs

Sit down so the rest of us can see Jupiter instead of Uranus.

Reminds me of the old joke:

What does the Starship Enterprise have in common with a wad of toilet paper?

They both circle Uranus looking for Klingons.
