Out and about this morning with my wife shopping here in Hendersonville and I noticed lots of folks with orange and white Vols clothing and hats on. Some car flags and more and more Vols license plates floating around. Most people in this city are from somewhere else so I see lots of Michigan, Penn State, Bama, UGA, Oklahoma and other schools stuff but this season it would appear that the Vols are proud of their program once again. Thank you, Butch Jones, staff and players for making us relevant again. GBO

I'll take 'em as long as it helps recruiting and paying to keep the lights on in Neyland.

I agree with that part of it, but it really bothers me to see people showing up when things are looking up. I know it's human nature....but I'm loyal and stick through the hard times. F those that don't.

I don't disagree.

To me the worst kind are those that decide to pick another team just because they are winning.

Oklahoma fans for example. Two years ago all you saw was red all around. Then OSU started getting good and was rolling people up. Suddenly, you started seeing way more orange.

Like the same idiots that suddenly support Vandy when they started being somewhat relevant...

They may not be bandwagon fans... Could be Hurd from area and several other local area recruits Malone. Fans will complain about anything. Vols are hot and they may just be closet fans coming out or new fans. Bottom line instate recruiting has contributed to some of this and of course Dools being gone has also contributed more...

I've been wearing my orange out and about all day. It just feels right. Saw a guy with a bammer cap at Lowes. I gave him a dirty look. He just had that bandwagon look about him, plus, he's a filthy bammer.

Some people on here must get real tired of hearing their own bull****. In the words of Dolly Parton. Get down off the cross. Somebody needs the wood. Bandwagon fans. Please. You people talk so much **** I feel like I'm stuck in the lolly pop guild.

Lot of orange at the ball fields today. Everybody wants to be proud and wear the colors. Its human nature to be more proud when there is actually something to be proud about. Its good to see.
As far as a game comment, look for kickoff returns to be a factor. Its colder and the ball is harder of course, so we should see returns.

I agree with this sentiment. Bandwagon fans are like fairweather friends; you simply can't trust them. With respect to the original poster, there is also the possibility that a number of old-time midstate Vol fans simply are wearing their regalia again with pride, now that they have evidence that we are turning the proverbial corner.

Just imagine if we pull off this win today. Every "BAMMER" fan in TN will slowly turn away from the dark side..
