addition for accuracyI think it's possible I can safely say that Ohio State and Georgia are in the same boat. Both are over rated and I think as of right now we (we, meaning some team with at least some combination of talent AND coaching, unlike what we've witnessed from UT) can beat both based on how each team played today. Terrell Pryor is going to be a special player for OSU though. Wish he was wearing Orange.
you've apparently missed some of fulmermaniac's commentary of late. Hallucinations not required.
South Carolina played GA tight. Is SC a Top 20 team that hung around with the #2 team in the country?? I think not.
Why did Spurrier insist on putting Garcia in the game when Smelley was running the offense to perfection? The only result was disrupting the chemistry. Maybe the family of the Darth Visor should get him tested for Alzheimers.SC has a good defense which means they can play with anybody. They are probably going to go 7-5 this year while playing about 10 games decided by 7 points or less.
after seeing auburn play tonight, i don't think expecting ut to compete with them should be that unrealistic. they looked very beatable, to say the least.
Auburn's offense is like ours of 05. QB swaps and crap, but this time with a new scheme. Similarly, their D is like ours from 05 as well.Like GAVol said in another thread, I haven't quite been able to figure out why Auburn was in the Top 10 to begin with. If we played them tomorrow at a neutral site, I'd consider it a tossup.
I think we can beat Auburn and UGA. They're not that scary if you break it down.
Auburn has a scary D, but a not so scary O.
UGA has a good run game which helps the passing game, but with a secondary like ours...Their D gave up 21 to GSU and 17 to Central Mich.
