I think it's possible I can safely say that Ohio State and Georgia are in the same boat. Both are over rated and I think as of right now we can beat both based on how each team played today. Terrell Pryor is going to be a special player for OSU though. Wish he was wearing Orange.

Great point ^, by the way love the avatar pic, go Gerald Hot Hands Jones after todays game, by the way great in stadium atmosphere today at the game, although it was hot as hell. Both teams are overrated big time and Terrell Pryor, he's ok, he just dances around a lot though and that seems to be one of his flaws. Georgia will most likely have trouble next week with AZ ST QB Rudy Carpenter and TB Keegan Herring, i also think they will struggle with that dry desert heat.

you've apparently missed some of fulmermaniac's commentary of late. Hallucinations not required.

I wrote him off as a troll that had overplayed his hand and revealed himself as such when he started talking about how Steven Pearl was going to be bringing the game this winter. Nobody can be that dumb or that big a homer, much less both at the same time.

SC has a good defense which means they can play with anybody. They are probably going to go 7-5 this year while playing about 10 games decided by 7 points or less.

South Carolina played GA tight. Is SC a Top 20 team that hung around with the #2 team in the country?? I think not.

It was close, but UGA was never in serious danger of losing that game. They never pulled away, but they were clearly in control the whole time. On the road in the SEC. To a team coached by Steve Spurrier.

In contrast, we lost to a team that got BLOWN OUT FIFTY-NINE TO NOTHING IN THEIR NEXT GAME. BY THE MORMONS. OF THE WAC.

You're crazy if you think we're on the same footing as teams like Ohio State, UGA, and the rest of the top 10.

Why did Spurrier insist on putting Garcia in the game when Smelley was running the offense to perfection? The only result was disrupting the chemistry. Maybe the family of the Darth Visor should get him tested for Alzheimers.

Anyone who thinks we can compete with the top 10 teams in the country right now is hallucinating.

after seeing auburn play tonight, i don't think expecting ut to compete with them should be that unrealistic. they looked very beatable, to say the least.

Like GAVol said in another thread, I haven't quite been able to figure out why Auburn was in the Top 10 to begin with. If we played them tomorrow at a neutral site, I'd consider it a tossup.

Auburn's offense is like ours of 05. QB swaps and crap, but this time with a new scheme. Similarly, their D is like ours from 05 as well.

I think we can beat Auburn and UGA. They're not that scary if you break it down.

Auburn has a scary D, but a not so scary O.
UGA has a good run game which helps the passing game, but with a secondary like ours...Their D gave up 21 to GSU and 17 to Central Mich.

Central Michigan will probably turn out to be a better team than UCLA.

UGA is not particularly scary, especially given the injuries that they've already suffered, but unfortunately you don't have to be a particularly scary team to be better than the Vols this year. They're a solid team with one outstanding RB. That's it. USC would annihilate them.
