I think all schools who are not members of an AQ conference should play football in 1AA or FCS. I know its a big deal when a university goes from D1 AA to D1A but really if you aren't in the big 6 then you have no shot at winning. This is no knock on the TCU's or Boise's that could compete. I mean like the MAC Sun-Belt C-USA (for the most part) and most of the MWC and WAC. I say scrap the Big Least. Make a new conference of the best outside the big 5. Let the rest go play at the lower level. Skill level in the FCS would go up. Might even be tolerable to watch on television.
