With all the success and great memories of this hoops season I got an idea I thought I'd share. Bruce has brought a ton of pride and joy to the university, state and all of Vol Nation so I thought maybe we should find a way to say thank you. Add this to the rumors of Coaches name being considered for IU, Iowa and other top jobs I think it would be a nice way for us fans to show our appreciation. What if we start a thread where we could all thank the Coach and tell him how grateful and proud of this season we all our. Then after a week or so we could print out the thread along with a small note and send it to him at the UNiversity. Sound stupid or does it seem like a cool idea to others also? This would show him the kind of feelings we have towards his work and bring some attention to Vol Nation.

What does everyone think?? :dunno:

Dear Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce,

Before, as a relatively new football fan, I was a lot like other Tennessee fans I've seen around the boards. Sure, we all rooted for the big orange around football season but then when basketball rolled around, we kind of shrugged off and avoided the general topic of basketball. We all had our own teams on here. A lot of North Carolina fans in the offseason here, along with some other schools (Gonzaga fan, myself). But this year changed everything we percieved about Tennessee basketball. Your immense passion for the game has proven to be nothing short of insipirational and you have made all of us that much more proud of being a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. The timing of your meteoric rise was especially magnified on the trail of one of the most dissappointing football seasons any Vols fan can remember. You, sir, brought the pride back. Thank you, this has been one of the most enjoyable basketball seasons I have ever seen a team play. At the end of it, I feel the same sort of fascination I had as a youngster watching Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls teams.

P.S. I would like to see you bring the Vols to play the Ducks, Beavers, Vikings, Pilots or Huskies sometime soon so I could go see the Vols play in person. Thanks.

He would probably prefer a envelope in the mail instead of 100 emails. I may be wrong oh?
