I don't take much from it. It could rub somebody off as being disrespectable but that just means we need to go take our respect from him.

Everyone wants to get Bama equally right now. It feels the same for them.

It's a lot more to us atm for that reason.

They probably have a rivalry type game week in and week out.

I guess I'm weird (I know it in fact!)...but if I am a "fan" of a team and I have D-1 talent than by golly that is where I am going to go. I don't get the mercenary attitude of today. But I'm an old fart.

Maybe if he gets his jersey a bit grass stained this will be more than just another game to him?

I wouldnt expect him to expand on the game any more than what he already did. As fans we, yearn for something, anything for the locker room tack board. As we get older we realize these kids are robot puppets when they get in front of a mic.

Everyone wants to beat Bama, not everyone hates Bama and circles that date on their calender. This will not be just another game.

No, it's not another game for us. Obviously though it is for them. They're used to the hate and smack talk. When we're not winning like we should the history and all of that doesn't really have an effect on them like it should. Imo

Also so many of these kids now are not old enough to remember when the 3rd Saturday in Oct meant something, and when Bama was our biggest rival.

Agree. When we start beating them that's when the rivalry will spark a fire again. So to speak. It's always going to be the same for us though. Almost like how we look at Kentucky football right now is how they look at us. Just not quite that bad:p

why should it mean anything to him? It is just another game to him. His team has pretty much been #1 his entire career and UT hasn't even threatened them except for 2009 when he wasn't playing. It is not just another game to Vol fans and players, because we know thew history and we see the #1 team in the land who just happen to be the most unlikable bunch in the land. It's up to UT to make this game one that Bama players circle on their schedule. No better time than now to do that. Come get some, Bama.

Muccullers is going to sit on him and then he'll know the vols and won't say "just another team." Not too many QB's have made it through an entire game against this vol D AJ so be careful what you say.

Need to rough this guy up a little Saturday. Get some dirt on his uniform and some grass stuck in his facemask a few times.

Well they're the kings of it. We might can surprise them some though. Out toughing them isn't likely. Going to have to get to AJ or it's going to be a long day.
