Hey, we lost to Vandy again and that hurts bad but the fact is we severely closed the scoring gap!

Butch's Team 117 only allowed a 4 point lead with less than a year of work. We didn't win but it can't be denied that we're improved from last year.

Butch gets it!

And with only us passing for 59 yards and all of Vandy's starting secondary out

If he only had his players

Oh, wait. Dobbs is his player

The lack of any semblance of a passing game is disturbing. How many touches did Howard get?

Not many

Only 19 were attempted

What gets me is he attempted way more against Missouri. Why all of a sudden stop, when you have a second string secondary in? North out is a lame excuse on his part

I think the staff lost confidence in Dobbs after the two interceptions.

I would have liked to see Pigg get a few more carries, personally. But with as bad as this game was, the third and one play is my biggest gripe. I think that failure changed the outcome of the game.

Agree. I realize Dobbs was shaky, but you have to keep taking some shots to keep defense honest, especially a secondary as thin as Vandy's was last night. That is how you build confidence in a QB. Throwing those weak screens was ineffective all night. They threw some late in the game, with a huge drop, but I think they would have found some success throwing if they would have committed more. Also, is it me or did Lane not get enough carries?

Neal played pretty well, but Lane hasn't gotten enough carries all season. I don't understand it.

I bought into the hype at the beginning just like everyone else, but tonight was evidence of poorly coached team. We might actually lose to Kentucky.

Yeah. 3rd and 1. Our O line could get a push for 1 yard against a smaller d line. I'm sick of hearing about how great our O line is.

I'm so looking forward to seeing a new offensive line next year. Not keeping Sam Pittman hurt. I think.

No doubt that it did. It was a give up play, plain and simple.

Jones pretty much said as soon as North went out in the first quarter their passing game went with him.

Well every time we had a chance on passes it was dropped, bobbled going out of bounds or a complete miss. I think I'd quit calling pass plays too.

Hey! Here's something else: It's been roughly 730 days since we last beat Vandy, but only 365ish days left until we beat them again. So, we're like 2/3rds of the way there!

Wow, now I feel better.
