Just got back from Martinsville

Me, Tara and some friends made our first trip to Martinsville for this past weekend's race. Great times but a long a$$ drive! We stayed in a small town outside of Martinsville called Staurt and there was a several Cup and Truck teams staying there also. It was pretty cool because we got talking to some guys on Mike Skinner's pit crew and they were also huge Vol fans so we all had a mini party outside the hotel durring the Bama game. They then hooked us up with pit passes and we got to to meet Mike before the race. We also saw Erin Crocker and her owner/man Ray at a local Italian joint. Erin is great but Ray was a total dick (pardon my French). Overal it was one of the best race weekend I've had except a near heart attack or two durring the game.

Sweet. My Mom was there too. She is a HUGE Bobby Labonte fan. She was at qualifying and Bobby rode right past her on a golf cart.

Needless to say with her being close to Bobby and him finishing 3rd, it was a good weekend.
