Although I have to wonder, exactly how high up is Row 87 in the Upper Deck? I'm wondering if I will need to do like the mountain climbers do on Mt. Everest and climb to the bottom of the upper deck on Friday, allow my body to acclimate to the elevation, and then wait to ascend to my seats on Saturday?

There is a man here in Columbia that has climbed the highest 7 mountains on Earth. I'm glad that he's local. I think I should consult with him before I attempt to do this alone.

Ditto. Think USC is capable of winning their netx two games. Hope so, too.

We'll see. I have a tough time believing Florida will lose before the SECCG, but I sure hope they do.

i find it curiuos that it's spurrier vs. Florida instead of USC vs. Florida....

i guess that's the key with USC...the fact that he's coaching at USC is secondary to the fact that he's coaching against sec teams again, and that's the story, rather than the university that employs him. I don't think it would matter what university he coached...he'd be the story....not the actual football team.

Good luck with that...

Take it easy. Next week, it IS the story when the coach that won conference championships and a national championship goes back and coaches against the team that he had those successes with. Oh, and by the way, he's also an alum.

p.s. I think you can get a Vitamin B supplement at your local pharmacy or health food store.

testy, testy...maybe a little to close to the truth me thinks?

just an observation about the Spurrier media machine. It has little to do with South Carolina....it has everything to do with Spurrier. it was the same thing when we showed up in Columbia. Why else would Game day come to Columbia? two nationally ranked teams playing for something? nope. Two traditional rivals that have a history of great games going back and forth? nope. Heisman Trophy candidates battling it out? nope. Spurrier vs. Fulmer? yep.

South Carolina is only along for the ride...when spurrier leaves...SC will go back to whence it came.

I think it may be time to use the "Terrible Towel" to wipe with.

Spurrier coming to South Carolina IS a huge story. And, it is the best thing that could have possibly happened here.

If Fulmer left UT for a couple of years, then came back to coach at Kentucky, it would be a big time story.

I don't get the point of your frustration. You can spin it any way you want to, but the fact of the matter is that Spurrier is here, you hate him and we love it.
