He certainly sounds excited about the team he's bringing to Knoxville later this month. The only dark cloud around the program is the season ending injury to Tennessee native Antwaine Wiggins.

I'm so ready for this season to get started. It will be interesting to see how far this team has come since last season.

The nonconference schedule, while not as loaded with Top 25 opponents as in recent years, does have some solid under the radar squads on it. Charleston is good and Charlotte has really good talent.

I know Tony White Jr. will be ready for that game. They Vols better come ready to play, its games like these where upsets happen.

I was interested to find out that UT plays at Charleston in '11-'12. That has all the makings of a fun trip.

They always seem to upset a few big dogs from time to time.

I will be at the Charleston game. That will be a nice stopover on the way to KY for football.

If the way Curry played last night is any indication of how another RTL alumnus will play (Tony White JR.), we're in for a good performance from him.

I think that's a great idea. Hope the game in the Virgin Islands leads to a home and home with East Carolina.

I know you talked to him a while back, is there any animosity towards the UT system?

Mac had his demons but Chatt hasn't been the same since he left. (on the court and off)
He's a standup guy. He's not going to blame others for things that he's at least partially responsible for. I'm confident he focuses on the good times in C-Town.

Hate to hear about Wiggins. He went to my former high school. Would have been neat to see him in TBA.

I will be up at this game this season with my dad while I am in for Thanksgiving (thank God I get a break from work). Could be the only game I catch all year so I am looking forward to it.

I got to see COC play some last year and they are very well coached and have pretty good talent. Will be a challenging game and I think the Vols will wear them down in the end.
