I know Coach Neely in Chattanooga has well over 1000 wins in volleyball but she is also head basketball coach. Not sure about her overall win total there. She is about the only person that comes immediately to my head.

I know, Coach Neely is a girls basketball coach as well as a volleyball coach. I just have no idea how many wins she has racked up in girls basketball.

Google Jim Smiddy baby! Bradley Bears legendary girls b-ball coach. Not sure if anyone has broken his win record yet. I had the joy of having him as a teacher back in 94 the year he retired from teaching. Not only was he a sick coach but a Gold Glove boxer and he'd be the first to let ya know even at a very old age lol :)

From his MTSU Bio: The legendary Insell, a 1977 graduate of Middle Tennessee, built a dynasty at nearby Shelbyville High School, where he guided the Golden Eaglettes to a record 10 TSSAA Class AAA state championships and two USA Today National Championships (1989, 1991) as he compiled a sparkling 775-148 worksheet during his 28-year tenure. Insell was named USA Today National High School Coach of the Year in 1989 and 1991 and he also has been named Converse National High School Coach of the Year on two occasions (1990, 1992). Insell called the women's basketball position at Middle Tennessee his "dream job".

Smiddy had the most and still holds the record I THINK for most highschool basketball WINS nationwide in girls basketball.....Jus b/c he isn't from our era he obviously deserves to be in the conversation with that resume.
