He stated that when the PAC 10 began expansion that their goal the PAC 20! That if they get there the other big conferences will follow suit! Thoughts?

Oh, OK. :crazy: I couldn't figure what it was supposed to be (long day.)

Geeze, imagine the arguments about divisions and subdivisions and playoffs with 20 teams.

Where would they get 20 teams, high-caliber teams, that is? Their travel schedules would be brutal, as spread out as the Western schools are.

Kind of... But he also left us with an SEC West Title and as the winningest Coach in school history.

There will never be a 20-team "conference" in college football. If a conference ever does expand to 20 teams, it will in practice be two 10-team conferences joined by a championship game.
