I keep noticing all the threads that speek about what the Idiot Coach at Kentucky thinks about UT. Seriously do we really care what that jerk thinks. "we should do this" We should be there"..He is only out to promote UK. Don't be fooled by the 'kind words'. JMHO

Seriously, I agree with the OP 100%. People get all happy and smiling because Cal says a couple of good things about UT. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Who gives a flying crap what Calapari thinks about anything to do with UT. I hope Kentucky loses a million times but I'll settle for just one in the next couple of games :)

If you don't care about what someone says, then don't talk about. Ya'll must care if you spend 5 weeks talking about it. Be happy that you at least get some recognition, coach talk or not.

its a longshot,,,but I'm rooting for WKU to put the kats out of the tourney. It would be a perfect ending.

It's not just because they're the best team. If the Knicks, Bulls, and Heat were in the tournament, I'd still be rooting for Western.

Trust me, everyone brings there A-game against UK. Don't expect a cake-walk to the final 4. WKU isn't a pushover, although they certainly have a very slim margin of error.

See - this is why it sucks to be a UK fan. I can't enjoy the remainder of the year UNLESS they win 6 in a row. If they were in the tourney as a 4 seed or something (like last year) it was fun to watch them make a run but when you're the favorite you can only do as expected...which sucks

I'd expect every to try to bring their A-game for all opponents this month.

And, I hope UT never gets a 1-seed; that would be terrible.
LOL; I actually see your point, DofM, but I don't think it's constrained to being the 1 as thus 'supposed' to reach the Final Four. If they don't win it all, everyone will go crazy over Calipari losing, whether it's UConn taking it by 10 points or UNC throwing one in from 60 feet.
