The Tide will roll by about 35-45 points. UT will be lucky to score.

It may be a 35 point spread by halftime.

Your favorite teams are Auburn. Alabama and Tennessee...Just a bit confused aren't you?..Now run along son the adults are talking.

If the Vols cover, meaning they win outright or lose by less than 29, on a $100 bet you get $100 less the vig, usually 10%, so a net of $90.00. :hi:

I think it's the other way around. If you win you net $100. If you lose you lose $110

No he's right, that's the only way I've ever known it but I do online.

If you lose you lose what you put down, there's no need to charge a fee if they just took 100 dollars

Bookies do it different then I guess. You win you get what you bet. You lose you pay what you bet plus 10% juice.

I have a bet with a co-worker. If Bama wins he gets my front office. If UT wins I get $100. The front office is at a car dealership. lol

I've never bet before, at least not on a game. However, I'm in Vegas, I've had a cocktail or seven and I just don't see team 117 dropping to Bama by 29 points..

Go vols.!

The has line moved from 28. Four touchdowns and a point to spare. Hmmmmmmm

You've never been to Vegas. There is no "juice" on the loser in Vegas as the money is bet up front. In Vegas you bet up front...say UT +28 against Bama for $100. Your winning ticket is worth $190. Your losing ticket cost you the $100 you bet.

There is no way for the casino to go collect the juice on losers, so technically the winners pay it.

Gotcha. They get the juice on the other end.

Exactly. If you want to win $100 you have to wager $110.

That's why Vegas wants even money bet on both sides. That way they make 10% on every bet. The losers pay the winners.

It will not be a 35 point spread at half. I will take money on that. You love to hear yourself talk.
