Looks like Butch Jones’ infallible system is going to get him a win in this Ventures Bowl.

Butch was the best coach Tennessee had between Kiffin and Heupel. It’s weird how so many of our fans hate him more than Dooley or Pruitt, who were both inferior coaches.

Butch isn’t big enough for a major job like Tennessee. But he’s done a good job at Arkansas State. He just a good mid-major coach…which is more than I can say for Dooley or Pruitt.

There was things Butch did that bothered me, but Heupel also does things that bother me, so there we are.

I know it’s not right but I just strongly dislike the guy. He’s a duck fart .

Butch set out to be a horses ass and has vastly overachieved . The points Nighthawk made were for the most part valid regarding Jones being “the best of the worst“ post Fulmer Vols coach. Those points in no way negate the fact that when I see Lyle Jones it makes my ass wanna chaw of backer.

I’m friends with a former player that transferred to Cal after a year with Butch and can tell you Butch is an absolute POS.

Butch's behaviors and attitudes were what buried him more so than what he did on the field. I couldn't stand that guy, but we definitely had more success with him than we did Dooley or Pruitt. That being said, he still sucks.
