After watching todays press conference and listening to what he was saying this is most excited I have been since 2005. Only time will tell with wins and losses and team improvement but I really think that The Vols finally have a football coach. :clapping: Go Vols!!!!!

Yes, we actually have a coach again as opposed to someone with a last name.

Someone who has more wins than losses on his resume... not to mention multiple conference titles.

I'll be honest, I was more excited before last gear's season. Dooley finally had talent, we had an experienced Tyler Bray, a healthy Justin Hunter, DaRick Rogers tearing up practices, and reports of newcomer CP potentially being the best WR on the team. I told absolutely everyone that Tennessee had the potential to win the SEC. How wrong I was...

Because of all of that, I have a hard time getting overly optimistic. But I'm excited nonetheless, and I'm so happy it's game week!

They did have the potential last year, just not the right coach.

That is some HIGH quality audio! Geez, you could pick some freshman at random and have a pretty good shot at getting that set up more appropriately.

I agree that is awful and I couldn't even watch it.
It reflects badly that they cant even get the audio right on a youtube video when any high school kid can do better.

Just unwatchable and embarassing that not a single person could go "Hey, let's check and see how that's recording before we film for 30 mins..."

Agreed. If Wilcox and Sirmon had stayed, the defense would have pretty darned good rather than historically bad.

Personally, I think the team had been tuning Dooley out since the midway point of the 2011 season. They can look at his past record, then weigh that with his current record, and easy conclude he doesn't have a clue.

80% of his coaching staff came to that conclusion.
