One of the most underrated sports movies of all time. Just a classic sports comedy. "Hey bartender, Jobu needs a refill."

No, no, it is brilliant. No, no, no, no, there is no word to describe its perfection. So I am forced to make one up. And I am going to do so right now. Scrumtrulescent.

I wouldn't label it as "underrated". I did thoroughly enjoy it though.

If you want to check out an underrated sport movie, watch "Rebound". I'm not referring to the one starring Martin Lawrence, but the one that featured Don Cheadle as Earl "The Goat" Manigault released in the mid 90's.

"Eight Men Out" is another underrated sport flick.

A lot of people seem to like the movie "Brian's Song" also. It's pretty good, a tear jerker though.

I like the movie "The Express", I'm not sure if I would label it as underrated though. Very sad, but there is a scene that features the old square T'd Vols. Which is inaccurate IIRC, because the time period would of had the numbers on the helmet. I'm not 100% sure on that now that I think about it.

i wouldn't call Major League underrated either, it's just a great movie. But seeing as most any film critic will put 8 Men Out on their short list of greatest sports movies, I don't think you can call it underrated either. Of course, it doesn't have the mass appeal of sports comedies or Rudy and Field of Dreams, so maybe you have something there.

Yeah critics love it, but I find when I talk about it, no one ever remembers it. It just seems to go under the radar. Especially with the younger generation.

Yeah, I think when most people make a Top 5 Sports Movie List of All-Time, "Major League" appears in a pretty high percentage, so I don't think it's that underrated.

"Yup, we've got uniforms and everything, it's really great!"

i think the most underrated quote of the movie is the trajectory argument between the two fans in the outfield seats.

i literally cannot look at a home run being hit without thinking about that

i havent seen the sequel though, im assuming im not missing anything

That actually has me laughing at my desk only because I can't think of that scene without cracking up. I use that line about "it's too high" and nobody ever has any idea what I'm talking about.

Not too high, too hard!
