Will he be introduced tonight? I know they often do at basketball games but i know the recruiting trail is very hot right now. If not do ya'll know when he might be?

I was at the UT-Memphis game when they introduced Kiffin and his entire staff. That wasn't until late January. Don't know if they had introduced Kiffin by himself at an earlier game, but he had been hired in early December as well. My guess is he is recruiting for now until they host official visitors on a weekend we have a home game.

Didn't UT play in the SEC championship game 2 years before Kiffin got here? IIRC they were one bad pass by Ainge late in the game against LSU from a SEC Championship and a BCS bowl bid. We must have different definitions of exciting.

I didn't keep up with TN Football on the level I do now until Fulmer's last year unfortunately.

My dad never cared too much about football, so I honestly didn't learn the game, or learn to care about it until late into high school, which sadly happened to be Phil's last year.

I wish I would have understood more back in the 90's and early 2000's. I would have appreciated the winning seasons we had.

Sadly many of the people that did watch during those years couldn't appreciate those winning seasons. That's water under the bridge now. Hopefully the next few years will give you something to replace Kiffin as your best memory of Tennessee football.

Shoot, I hope so too! I've been REALLY involved in TN football and this board the past few years, and it's been bad for my health, lol.

I sure hope we get back to where we were. I got a daughter coming in a few weeks, and I want her to grow up having UT everywhere. Even though i didn't keep up with Tennessee football growing up, orange was everywhere. None of that ugly crimson.

I would really rather not see him at TBA this season. I'm still trying to get the metaphorical image of a giant dong that is college football out of my head.

They will wait till we have a game that will draw a pretty nice crowd for the recruits to see.

Probably not many, so then again maybe not the best idea, unless they think it's going to be packed house regardless.

Hopefull, like someone else already mentioned, they go with the first decent home conference game. Which is Ole Miss. After that you almost would have to wait till Bama (good game) or Vandy (traditional rival) in late January.
