Justin Fields

It is going to be interesting. He is going to be in the same shape next year as this year and then he has to hope Fromm goes pro after his Junior year. This is assuming no injuries to Fromm.

I don’t know that Fromm would project to be that high of a pick. I may be wrong.

Fromm’s accuracy is getting better and better to the point where he’s looking elite. Hell, I’d much prefer to play v UGA with Fields at QB than Fromm. And Fromm strikes me as the “I’m playing all 4 years and getting my degree” type. So, Fields gotta be gone.

This reminds me of DJ Shockley who held David Greene's clipboard for three years from 2002-2004. I understand in-state loyalty, but not getting to play isn't great for his future in the game (assuming that is a goal of his). Shockley was a very good QB but didn't leave behind much of a legacy to speak of because he only started one season. Only Georgia fans would remember him at all.

I am firmly in the camp of Kirby inserting Fields into every offensive series going forward and putting Fromm on the sideline. The satisfaction and happiness of a 5-star HS recruit should take precedent over everything else.

Exactly. Fromm is tossing it around like Drew Brees, so I’ll gladly take the guy who, thus far, has not tossed it around like Drew Brees.

Is it true u can’t put restrictions on where transfers can go anymore?

If so UF would be in the race if a transfer did happen

Regular transfers can still be blocked...you’re thinking graduate transfer. Smart young man but I doubt he graduates after two years...this one or next.

I thought they couldn’t block the transfers anymore and the person would just have to sit out. They are making a transfer database where they can put their names in and coaches contact them

No. That was just for graduate transfers.

Fields gave an interview after the SEC Championship and said he was staying. I couldn't believe it. He is not beating out Fromm. Fromm was dropping dimes in that game, he outplayed Tua.
