What ever happened to him? Don't ever hear anything about him and he's not even listed on the depth chart. thought he looked pretty good running the option a few times last year. Wonder why he is not getting any looks? I guess there is a reason but thought he might be able to help up some this year.

He got moved from TE to LB at the beginning of fall camp. So I'd assume he's just buried on the depth chart because he's at (another) new position where we have plenty of upperclassmen this year.

Still, he's an athletic kid and I look for him to get his shot with the 2nd team/special teams starting in the spring.

He's still on the roster, and he's listed as a linebacker--as was mentioned. He has zero participation in games so far this year. That's all I got.

Yeah I got it, it just gets annoying when it's all the time which seems to be the case sometimes in threads. Hard to talk football when that goes on all the time, when all I was doing was asking a legitimate question.

King is being recruited over as we type. No offense to the kid; I liked him at TE. But so it goes.

The best part is that he has time to turn things around. Seems to have the right attitude, judging from his twitter persona.

Butch is making quiet roster moves for the future using the RS IMO. King is a really good athlete.

Actually I thought he ran that option better than anyone last year . Not surprising he was an option qb in high school . I don't think he can throw anywhere close to being looked at as our qb , but to run special packages he would be pretty good

Thanks! But we have a new coaching staff this year in case you missed that, which is what I was referring to. Don't understand why many on this board use this as a forum to continuously be sarcastic and try to degrade others when the majority of us just want to talk football. I'm out. But thank you to all who answered my question with a legitimate response.

I think it's smart for CBJ to red shirt him----if that's what I understand him to be doing. We are thin now but next year we are going to needs LOTS of bodies.

They say he is real athletic maybe he will do good at LB. He's got good speed for his size from what I was hearing in the spring. GO VOLS!

King is an exceptional athlete with good measurables. My guess is that he is in the plan and will make his way onto the field sooner or later.
