OK, and he paid for it. Plenty. He showed a lot of class today, tells me more about his character than a stupid mistake he made. You disagree?
Tennessee’s strength and conditioning coach, Garrett Medenwald, was standing right beside Kennedy. Also, aggravates me that there wasn’t a teammate or TN coach around to comfort Kennedy when they were the ones to lose this game, not KC. Instead Howard gets a PR clip the press will show 100 more times than they did his battery from earlier this year
No, I agree that it was special of him to take the opportunity to console Chandler. Absolutely classy of him to take that moment.OK, and he paid for it. Plenty. He showed a lot of class today, tells me more about his character than a stupid mistake he made. You disagree?
Agree. He should've 100% been fired. It was telling after the incident and he had time to cool down he was still not remorseful for what happened. No, I agree that it was special of him to take the opportunity to console Chandler. Absolutely classy of him to take that moment.
I do take exception to the verbiage used that even unintentionally paints him as a victim of his circumstances. I also disagree that he paid dearly, at least not dearly enough. He should have been suspended for the entirety of the season if not outright fired. That was his second incident of confronting an opposing conference coach with violence or the threat of violence.
Howard’s youngest son, Jett, played AAU ball with Kennedy. Chandler knows Juwan pretty well. Juwan was comforting a player he knew, and obviously, Kennedy was okay with that.Ok, I don’t blame the strength and conditioning coach. Aggravated that Kennedy felt the need to cry on the shoulder of the opposing coach regardless
