Yeah I mean it could be both- loves his vols but he’s at practice everyday- he knows if he has a real shot to see the field and it what capacity.

Also entering the portal doesn’t automatically mean he’s gone- could just be seeing his options.

Speaking of “seeing his options”, has anyone seen any stats on the percentage of players that enter the portal and decide to stay at current school?🍊🍊

I tried to find some with no luck- imagine it’s not very high. Probably more that put their names in the draft hat and then decide to stay .

Will be surprised if Leacock doesnt leave as well honestly. In the last 2 classes of 24 and 25 we have signed:

Matthews
Staley
Smith
Jackson
Dodson.

All 5 of these guys are ballers. All 5 of them. Only Dodson is a 3* and our staff had him at the TOP of their board this year for a reason. Plus...we bring in a new proven WR from the portal every year like Bru, Thornton, Brazzell. Brazzell has 2 more years eligibility and likely stays here for both. Webb, Leacock etc are simply getting buried on the depth chart. Both are very talented AND big tall guys for WRs...they can both start for a lesser program. I wish them both the best and hope to see them in the league some day.

I think he was all in and seemed like a likeable kid. Just looking for playing time and he's not going to be a starter here. Honestly thought he might be gone last year

There are a lot of WRs already in the portal. Webb will probably wind up at a group of 5 school, like MTSU or WKU. Hope the best for him. I hope he already has possible schools lined up.
