Glaud, aka KG, has already visited Iowa (Nov. 15), West Virginia (Dec. 6) and Maryland (Dec. 12) and is supposed to visit Rutgers on Jan. 23, but admits that he may visit elsewhere. Im set up to go to Rutgers this weekend, he said. But Im not sure.
He says hes also considering Louisville, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Back on Glauds radar is Tennessee, which went on the backburner after coach Phillip Fulmer resigned. When coach Fulmer and (secondary) coach Larry Slade left, they pretty much stopped recruiting me, Glaud said. But theyve come back strong again.
I know theyve been talking to my coaches a lot and Ive also talked with (tight ends) coach James Cregg, he said. I havent spoken with (head) coach Lane Kiffin yet but I know some of their coaches will be coming to my school next week.
Glauds relationship with former Vols secondary coach Larry Slade is the reason why Louisville is now on his list as hes now the Cardinals secondary coach. Hes straightforward and really down-to-earth, he said of Slade.
