What makes this a bigger upset is that KU was hit hard by transfers with 27..only us with 37 had more

That decision to fire Tom Herman is sure looking great right now.

I 'spose this could still work out for Texas is Sark can recruit Arch Manning, but otherwise, they just replaced a good coach who was building the program up, with a coach who was completely average at Washington and USC. And it's probably easier to win at USC than Texas.

Sark cracked under 2 lower pressure jobs. How was it going to work in Austin?

LOL, he inherited a team that missed a bowl game for 3 straight seasons and he was 25-12 his last 3 seasons. He was 7-3 last year with his 3 losses by a combined 5 points. Sagarin had Texas as the 10th best team in the nation. He was a victim of unrealistic expectations.

Texas is a good job, but not nearly as good as people think it is.

His firing is easily the dumbest firing of the past decade. And it's going to look doubly stupid if he succeeds at TCU or whatever his next stop is and Sark flops.

Arch Manning needs to revisit his list.

Texas? Really? A complete dumpster fire.
Georgia? Where 5 star QBs go to get beat out by home state favorites. Eason, Fields, Daniels ring a bell?
Alabama? Nothing like a new OC every year.

Every time somebody in this forum says “they wouldn’t fire him unless they already have their guy” I laugh.

I will say for Sark he does wash out of high profile jobs. The man can interview with the best of em.
