Kansas Playing Distracted?

No excuses at all what are you talking about. We shot lights out. We would beat anyone in the country if we shot like tonight and played that good defense. Thing is hopefully we turned the corner on the offense. There is no understanding to a bad night shooting which we have sometimes. It happens to most teams though. Good win! Go damn vols !

Our last AD just "retired" because of cheating in the football program and this our first week with a new one.

Could say basketball team was distracted but we just came out and kicked ass.

I think they were distracted, but not things have settled down with the new hires.

Will Wade will get a hand slap and we will get the book.
At this point, I think the NCAA's Committee on Infractions is just hoping everybody forgets about those FBI wiretap audio recordings between Will Wade and Christian Dawkins. It's been 10 months now since the HBO documentary aired for the first time, revealing the "strong ass offer" conversation involving Ja'Vonte Smart. Smart is still playing... and the NCAA hasn't even addressed it one way or the other. Obviously, Mark Emmert is shielding them from punishment. No other explanation makes any sense.

It’s been so long at this point, it makes me wonder if the NCAA worries they have no legal grounds in court to do anything. Losing in court could be a landmark moment for amateurism. So maybe they are just delaying. Who knows.

But the NCAA's Committee on Infractions brought forth nine Level 1 charges against the Arizona men's basketball program in December, for very similar issues. It looks like it is just LSU who is getting a free pass, and that has to be because the NCAA's President, Mark Emmert, is also a former Chancellor of LSU. How else could this be explained? It's preferential treatment. LSU gets to buy players, basically.
